Rating System

Games are rated on a 10-star scale with 10 being a perfect or near-perfect game.  The system of rating will be a total score from three categories: game play, plot, and replayability.  Each category is worth up to three stars, but a game can get an extra star by being super cool.  That’s a total of 10 stars on the scale.  Additionally, the game will either be recommended to play or to avoid.

Each review will include the game title, system, and overall rating.  The rating will be broken down into the categories that made up the score, but most importantly, the post will discuss the gaming experience and the value of the game.  Most likely I won’t write novels about the games — that is, of course, unless I’m super passionate about that game and want to gush about it — but if I’m tempted, I’ll do my best to be concise so I can recommend only the best games for you to play.
